The Glorious Unclassifiable
Chateau Bizarre: The dark side of online shopping. Amazing, ever-expanding links list.
Necromance: A cavalcade of oddities. Things floating in jars, things pinned in cases,
things set in lucite. A recommended place to go if you want to buy me, or yourself, a
present.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab: WARNING: BPAL can be hazardous to your wallet. And
it should-- it will make you a better and happier (albeit poorer) person. I was never a
Scent Person until BPAL hooked me. It will get you too. An amazing selection of
hand-blended essential oils for anyone, anyone at all that you can think of. And several
people you can't.
The art of David Cunningham: There are no words. I have been obsessively devoted to
this man's paintings since the first day I saw them. Check them out and let them speak
for themselves.
The Wandering Turtle Art Gallery: Located in Bloomington, Indiana, the Wandering
Turtle specializes in the work of local artists, including yours truly (I used to be local,
okay?), as well as a wide variety of gift items.
Ego Likeness: Ego Likeness is a two-man Factory of Awesome. Not only are they
touring musicians, but they also have a novel and a children's book coming out this year,
and one of the pair is an excellent artist, as well. I own two paintings. I want more. Go
give them your money, because it makes the world a better place.
Abney Park: The planet's premier Steampunk musical ensemble. Go visit them on their
airship and have a listen.
Stolen Babies: Imagine everything good you can think of in the world tossed into a
musical blender and poured out and baked for half an hour at 350 degrees, with the
blender tossed in there for good measure. Then imagine that this concoction comes out
to be delicious, rather than horrifying! And then make them come play in Baltimore.
Maybe at my house. My favourite band of the past few years, though They Might Be
Giants have permanent claim to the lifetime title. Until you go listen to Stolen Babies,
you will have no idea how odd a mix that is.
Form30: I was in this band for a few months back in the dark Indianapolis Years. I doubt
my tenure lives on in song and story, but the band is still there...
snopes.com: They have the answers. ALL the answers.
xkcd: Simply the best webcomic that has ever existed, or will ever exist.
Married to the Sea: Daily webcomic. Somewhat indescribable. Go experience it
yourself. You will learn something...
Wondermark: Another webcomic, In Which Various Comedic Events Occur.
Jonathan Coulton: Everyone's favourite zombie monkey robot evil genius. Did you
know there's a Jonathan Coulton song appropriate to every major holiday? When I
worked in the Cholera Mines it was a lucky thing indeed for my coworkers that there was
no readily identifiable holiday around the First of May...
